Well a disc parking brake in cars did not work for that reason ... so they engineered a disc - drum hybrid, drum brake there for the parking brake
, 4 discs for speed control , moving..

I'm a pretty heavy guy (240 pounds) and have gone down some really long steep downhills to build lots of heat in the brakes. I've used everything from cheap $10 stamped steel rotors to $50 Shimano ice-tech and warping has never happened.
It's likely that something slightly bent the rotor and heating it up amplifies the problem, if you replace the rotor that would all go away.
The vast majority of cars actually don't have this setup, they usually have the parking brake integrated in to rear disk caliper. Normal use doesn't heat them up enough to be an issue, but if you take your car to the track and run a few hot laps, pull in to the pits and put on the parking brake you will surely have problems.

My last car had disc front , drum rear and Rolled off the Swedish assembly line in 1968..
I converted my bike to Hydro discs, just fitting HyRd calipers instead of mechanical ones ..
No hoses. no leaking air in..
(though MY HS33 brakes, Magura Rim haven't been an issue in 10 + years )

They had a hard time locating pads for my 10 year old caliper so I told him to put a new caliper on and pads. it痴 been a week or so, no adjusting yet. I will wait and see when the adjusting begins. If I知 adjusting ever 3-4 weeks I知 just going to get the hydraulics I talked to the bike shop owner about.
