Litespeed Firenze or T1?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Litespeed Firenze or T1?

Hello,

I’m looking to buy my first roadbike. Used to mountain bike a lot before moving to a very flat area, so I’ve been wanting to get into road biking. I’m currently looking at two options on used bikes, a 2002 Litespeed Firenze or a 2016 Litespeed T1 Di2. Both of them fall under my budget but there is around a $900 difference between both bikes. Hopefully someone can give me some input as I don’t find a lot on the T1 and the few things I found where not very positive. If you were to choose between these two, which one would you prefer and why?

Thanks!!!

Are both frames your size? if not I would go with the one that will give you the best fit.

if the fit is equal I would go with the T1

Thank you for your replies! Yes, both frames are my size. I just closed the deal for the firenze at a really good price; I didn’t want to pass on that. The T1 was a beautiful bike but my main concern was actually the Di2 6770 groupset. I’ve never used Di2 but I was reading that the 6770 Ultegra set can be a hassle if you ever need to replace any parts as it is no longer made. Anyhow I got an awesome deal and I’m very happy about it. I’m out of town for business but maybe I’ll post some pictures when I’m back home.
