Asking over $400.
You know the advice of "don't build a frame up if you aren't going to keep it."? This is why. Can't imagine anyone paying 400 for a mid eighty's bike without RD hanger on the drop out.

He'd have better luck parting it out!

$300 for this trashed Bridgestone w/o wheels?
I know they have their following, but... am I being too harsh here? This is my market too, and it’s often higher-priced, but i still think there is zero chance of this.

Never mind the flats - this would be one crazy downhill ride!

Bikes like this give bikes and biking a bad name ......

For $100 this can all be yours!

Cool bike but price is too high, maybe?

1964 Schwinn Jaguar resto mod 7 speed - $999

The frame, fork, stem, headset, chainring, cranks, tank, stainless steel fenders, chainguard, grips, rear rack and seat post clamp are all original to the bike.

First, it has a Shimano Nexus 7 speed internal gear rear hub with roller brake. It is laced into a Velocity Cliffhanger double walled alloy rim, as is the front, which has a Sturmey Archer drum brake hub. The bars are new Wald handlebars, wider and more comfortable than stock. The shifter is a vintage Shimano button, trigger shifter made of aluminum. Tires are WTB Thick Slicks with puncture protection. The seat is a Brooks B67 springer mounted to a layback seat post for a more comfortable ride.

That's an interesting shifting setup though. Looks like it would be great for those really hilly rides where your hands are mainly on the tops of the bars and you're shifting a lot. I'd like to try that out on one of my road bikes, if i can find a set of those shifters. I had tried finding grip shifters that would fit standard vintage road bike bars, but all I could find were the ones that fit 22 mm ATB and hybrid flat bars.

Back when I first started riding again and had no clue whatsoever I picked up one of these for $45. Shifting is meh, you often have to twist a bit high to catch the next gear up. As for the bike, it's made out of aluminum but you'd swear they put in some lead shot at the factory - it's freaking heavy, maybe not so bad for me at the time since I was working on getting the weight down and ultimately succeeded. I sold after it after 3 months or so for $70, which paid for the things I did to fix it up and a cup of coffee. I learned quickly.

One of the most optimistic listings I've seen yet. $1800+. So much for German pragmatism.

I had one of these bikes several years ago. Maybe in 2007? Anyway, I remember the drop bars were two pieces and pretty heavy. That was the only way to get the shifters on there.

Something looks off here.....Vintage Bianchi Campione D'Italia Lugged Dedaccai Steel Frameset Size XL 700c $209 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Bia...4AAOSwgb1cWOst

For some reason this Dedacci steel frame has a Tange sticker on it.

Well, that is where they put the shifters on the new pinion gearbox bikes.

I debated whether to post this in the "looking" thread. This is a Cannondale Bugger kid trailer. That's really what it's called. Rear facing, plastic tub chassis.

There have been one, or maybe a couple for sale locally... for quite some time. Cute...

Cannondale Bicycle Trailer - $130 (Washburne)

It looks like the kids either sit backwards, or lay down rocket ship style.

Presumably if you attach it to the seatpost, it lifts them up a bit.
