I have forgotten how to post images! Every time I complete a post there is no image to see! I remember that I need to use Photobucket then get the address but after trying several times there is nothing to show. I got used to letting my iPhone do the work with other social media.

Thanks for the insight and recommendations for the photo storing site. I'll figure out how to post images once we get back from our cabin in PA in a week or so.

I was going to go carbon fiber, but I think that the performance and weight difference is just not worth the extra cost for something I don't plan on racing.
I call them the two ghosts.

When I was in high school, one of the other athletes injured a leg and showed up on crutches. One day at lunch, we decided to race each other around the parking lot on his crutches using the same good leg as he had.
Why de we remember such stuff. It was a blast.

Here's my latest. The frame cost me $200 (barely) used. It's an "open source" Chinese track frame, and it's pretty highly regarded. These photos were taken last Tuesday when I was riding it for the first time and trying to dial it in. It has a much shorter head tube than my Giant does, which gets me lower, which makes it ideal for pursuits. So, I am going to used it for the 500 and 2K, and if I ever get to do team pursuits again, I'll use it in that. It rides really well, stable, slightly damped ride (compared to my Giant), and it transfers power very well. So far, so good! I'll race it at LAVRA Sunday, and I'll get a good feel for it then.

Thanks, @Heathpack! It's turning out to be a real steal for $200! I'm racing it tomorrow for the first time. My ribs will hinder me more than the bike will, in fact the bike probably has more potential than I can unleash when I'm not mending from an injury. I'll let you know it goes!

Well, it doesn't handle so well! It's probably too small with it's 51/5 CM top tube. I'm too far forward right now, and the front wheel is loaded too much. The steering is wonky and notchy. There may be an issue with the headset, true, I have to investigate that. But right, on the aerobars at Velo Sports Center, that bike is a handful!
