Painting
Why isn't there a Painting sub-category? Even a search on painting doesn't come up with anything. People could post their custom paint, and people can ask questions. There are a lot of great youtube videos on painting, but it's not a place for Q&A.

We just don't get enough painting questions to warrant its own forum. The forum that deals the most with re-painting a bike would be our Classic & Vintage forum. Another place that you could post a painting question would be our General Cycling Discussion forum.

Just ideas, techniques, colors. I like watching ETOE videos on Youtube, and for a short time was thinking of doing something fancy with masking, but figured that would be out of my comfort zone. I think it would just be cool to see what other people are doing.

It's an old steel frame from the 70s heavily upgrade. Single owner. Original color was black, but I'm pretty much settled on painting it white. I bought the original decals, but since it's been modified so much, I'm going to go with a variation on that, I think. Like similar text style, but maybe different color. I'm retiring on Friday, so this may be a summer project. Was considering some kind of pearl or sparkle, but seems like white is pretty much always white.
