I just replaced re BB7... with a TRP cable hydraulic on my bike with 20" wheels ..

smoother less on/off feel more in between ..

You just need 2 fingers on the brake levers, not all 4. I know someone who had a panic-brake situation, and he pulled the knob right off the end of an otherwise-good cable.
