I tried a few Selle Italia saddles and they are too narrow for me. The large sizes for men are advertised as 145mm and for women 155-160mm, but the actual sizes are usually 3-5mm narrower than described, and with steep dropoff towards the sides. So the result is having more of the pressure towards the inner side of the sit bones. For me, I need at least 155-160mm for my 13cm wide sit bones, but it will depend on how much curvature the saddle has. If you have narrow sit bones, maybe they'd work for you. But with the steep dropoff and narrow width, the other consequence for me is sinking deeper and having more material in the centerline rising up into the perineum.

I found that the men's have a flatter side profile, while the women's have the sit zone angled slightly downward so that I was slipping forward.

I tried the Gel flow men, Gel flow lady, the diva version, and novus endurance. The novus endurance was initially the best out of the 4 that I tried, but after 30 minutes I noticed that the center of the bridge had a hump and it was causing me pain.
