Shooting for 400 this month.

4/1 - 36.8
4/3 - 26.4
4/4 - 30.3
4-5 - 14.2
4/7 - 28
4/8 - 23.6
MTD - 159
Goal 400

Trying to make myself go for short rides when I don't have time for a long ride. Usually if I don't have 3 hours, I don't bother, but even going for an hour is better than not riding at all.

I had a funny conversation with someone the other day, he said "I dread it when I see the signs that say 'Cyclists have full use of lane', because I know that some guy is going to be taking up the whole lane". I pointed out to him that according to state law, cyclist have full use of the lane everywhere, not just where they put up signs. The signs are just a reminder for crappy drivers, not marking some sort of "cycling zone". He said "Oh", then I changed the subject because he was a customer and he hadn't paid me yet.

Yes, that’s definitely a post-payment conversation.

4/12: 15 miles. Couple laps around the block to try to reacquaint myself with the bike.
4/13: 80 miles. A bit more than I wanted/was ready for at the time being, but I had a blast. I've lived in this area my entire life but a couple times today I had no idea where I was, kind of scary but adventurous at the same time. Gotta love unexpected detours on a new route.

MTD: 95 miles. A good start to the 2019 ride season especially after a year and half hiatus!
