Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cycling in Majorca, Spain

Planning a trip to Majorca this March. Anyone else heading there this season or for those who have been there, any info you can share would be great. Looking at places in the Port d'Alcúdia area. also wondering about the best way to get a variety of rides in from this location.

I was there a few years back, for climbing not riding though. rented a place in Port Andratx outside of Palma. From what I recall you really need a car to get around. Beautiful place though. I have some friends with rental property in Soller, if you're interested pm me.
