Hello everyone!
Well, since I've already been admonished by an admin for being an impatient millenial punk in the vintage appraisals forum, I might as well introduce myself...
My name is Robyn, I live in north Lake Tahoe, CA, and I'm a mountain bike addict. Most of my internet bike time is spent over on Pinkbike, which is arguably filled with lower life forms judging by the usual commentary on any article. Many nice pictures, though.
The reason I'm here is because I came upon what might be a rather nice old Italian road bike in a dumpster recently, and I'm scrounging for any information on what it's value may be; whether it could be a good Ebay sale as is, if I should part it out, or if I'm better off donating it to the local recycled bike shop in Reno. It's about my size but I don't have any room for more bikes (it's a real problem), nor do I ride enough on the road to justify having a road bike. So one of these days I'll have enough posts to show you all some pictures of it.
Cheers!

Thanks for the welcome I do appreciate the vintage bike knowledge that has been shared so far! If anybody has questions on Tahoe area mountain bike trails I'm happy to answer those, it's much more my area of specialty.
