Any good, challenging routes in peninsula?
Was wondering what routes people do in Bay Area for a good challenge and leg muscle workout.

The first thing you need to do is get rid of the clipless pedals. Remember? They are making your "workouts" too easy.
Once you get used to riding without your clipless pedals, you will then be able to make better assessments of the kinds of rides you need to do to get your heartrate up.

This ride is in June, but their route maps are still online. All 3 routes are scenic as well as challenging.

Kings Mountain road is my new favorite road, in Woodside.
