Hey pedal pushers! What is your favorite bicycle-related podcast that focuses on commuting?

I think I have about a dozen subs to various podcasts. I don’t know of any that focus on commuting. Can’t say I’d really be all that interested in a commuting podcast either. Actually, I’d probably follow until the topics started repeating, which I imagine wouldn’t take too many episodes.

I think such a one would do fine. There are certainly plenty of blogs following the mommy blogger review model.

Yes please. The only interesting cycling podcast I could find is The Spokesmen, and it's pretty good. I would love more cycling podcasts.

I am a subscriber to The Outspoken Cyclist. It started out as a Cleveland area thing, and it has grown. I like the host because, among other things, she's in my age range.

Yes, she's good people, too. She and I have emailed a few times, and we are connected on facebook. Our world is getting smaller in a good way.

not a commuter podcast per se but I have listened to the Paceline Podcast. I have enjoyed the conversations between Michael Hotten, Patrick from Red Kit PRayer, and Fatty from Fat Cyclist fame.

Wow, just passed 400 episodes! There's no way I can go through the entire back catalog. I'll give it a try starting from some recent episodes, but are there any standouts you would recommend I dig up?

well it just changed the format. Hotten and Fatty both dropped off the back and Selene Yeager took their spot. Unfortunately, I could not make through the latest podcast with Patrick making weird noises in the microphone this episode.

My favorite cycling podcast that often touches on commuting themes is The Sprocket Podcast out of Portland, Oregon.

I used to love "The Bike Show" from Resonance FM...especially the rolling interviews. It has slowed down or stopped, but the back catalog is still available.

I've been listening, starting with the most recent 10 or so, I like it a lot! Still looking for any recos of great interviews from the archives, as I'll never have time to go through them all.

Found another interesting podcast; Ben and Bikes isn't really about the bikes, it's about the riders. The tagline is 'Every bike tells a story...' I like it so far, he interviews a lot of different kinds of people.

As said “The Bike Show” back catalog is awesome. The Sprocket Podcast has been running for a very long time. They have covered a lot of different topics through the years. A little up and down but a great vibe, focused more on the events and activities than the bikes. A Path Less Pedaled is pretty good too.

Then there's the fun, occasionally hilarious Cyclist Pod. He's a 45-year-old English comedian, she's a 35-year-old Canadian-transplanted-to-Old-Blighty triathlete and coach, and they both love bicycles. No, they're just mates. They're kind of the opposite of Freds; wait 'til you hear their Velominati section. Be aware, there's language on occasion.
