I know most of us have more than one so show me your best one. Wouldn't be a bad idea to tell us why.
The Flagship of your fleet, your best bike.
Here's mine. Funny thing is its the most cosmetically challenged of my four but all things considered e.g. Dura Ace where it counts, favorite forks, etc.. it's my flagship. It fits like a glove rides like a souped up Cadillac.

it isnt old, but its traditional in tubing and easily my favorite, so ill post it with apologies to anyone offended by it being new.

You know, I think I started a thread with this title maybe five years ago!

My flagship, until something can take it's place, if anything. No doubt DA9000 has something to do with it (including hubs).

My Rodriguez, a faithful copy of a 1980 Holdsworth Pro that I gave to my son. I allowed R&E to use a modern threadless fork and ten speed rear spacing, but as you see the old parts were all transferred to the new bike. It, and its predecessor, ride beautifully on wide sewups.

This one I suppose. It certainly gets the most road miles for club rides / long days. I finally realized it's the best descender I've ever built.

It's not very old, but it is steel. This is my most comfortable all-day bike. The only thing I have changed from stock is to add a Brooks B17.

Mine is probably the Vitus 979 although it's not the first I grab. But, every time I am on it the smiles are large and the fun factor is huge.

The only problem with the QR rear fixed wheel is it offends the sensibilities of certain self-anointed experts in other regions of the BF world. My memory, though, is that St. Sheldon himself wrote about how the clamping power of the QR exceeds what one can achieve with track nuts, and I'll take his word over that of others who I regard as, shall we say, less qualified to make such judgments? Also, once upon a time Campagnolo actually cataloged track hubs with QRs, until velodrome officials allegedly decreed that because they had a fear that the QRs could possibly potentially lead to accidents, they had to be banned from tracks - or so the story I have heard goes.
In actual practice since 2007 it works just fine. Per Sheldon, use a steel skewer with an enclosed cam - mine is an M.M. Atom old enough to have a straight handle - rather than some boutique thing with an external cam designed for vertical dropouts.

Flagship means different thing to different people...The GIOS in my line-up is not the most cosmetically perfect (lots of paint chips due to the mileage and a repaired rear drop) but I like the way it rides and when I look down at the pavement while moving and see that GIOS blue..well you get the point.
