For me to be on board, components would need to have a reasonable lifespan and be able to handle big power. Looks like only one little bearing is in contact with the cassette at any given time. Maybe it can handle it?
And I would hate to ask what the replacement price was on the "cassette".
I love the look, and the concept, especially if their efficiency claims are true. At Eurobike it seems that they have a shifting plan so there's progress there. There are obvious issues to overcome, but I hope they are honestly working them.
