Anyone have any ideas on what he is riding? I think its a 3 speed, looks to be a 3 speed shifter on the right side of the bars? I think I can make out a Raleigh head badge too?

Yes, as a kid, the likes of Roger DeCoster, Marty Smith and Gaston Rahier were my idols of motocross racing.
I and my brother favored Marty Smith because we rode a Honda XL100, but there was no doubt that DeCoster usually had the upper hand with his Suzuki RMs over Marty's Elsinores and DeCoster seemed to always ride the perfect race. He was like the Ingemar Stenmark of Motocross in the 70's. For me, those were the golden days of Motocrossing....then wild Bob Hannah came up and kinda ruined everything for me by blowing away the competition on his Yamaha, a few years later.

One of my favorite actors from the old school... No doubt this particular photo has been posted here before but here it is (again?) now that he's gone - and at 103 years! I can only hope I get close.

One of the early episodes of McMillan and Wife (the pilot, maybe?) featured a bicycle chase in SF. All downhill, of course.

Be patient. There's a foot chase first. And it has Spanish subtitles.
