Gorilla Monsoon or Surly Straggler
Looking for something for gravel. Really leaning towards the GM. Am kinda torn cause I really like the forks on them both. Not a racer but want something for gravel and some long rides. LMK what u guys think...

There are a couple GMs ridden here locally and their owners love them. I don't feel like looking up the Straggler geo but I think it's a little more aggressive than the GM. Based on your description of not being a racer I'm leaning towards the GM of those two options.

Subscribed for interest. But I'm also curious, if your looking at the GM and Surly, why not the Midnight Special? Or the Kona Sutra? I've looked at the All City GM at my LBS and its very cool!

The GM has 2.4 inch tires - that will take you to more places off road, but it will be slower on pavement. If you spend much time off road or on rough roads, I'd go with the GM.

Liking the looks of a fork is not a consideration for how a bike handles for any given use.
