Need a suggestion for 400km ride in 3 days with 1 day break day
Hello Mates,
This is Raihan from Bangladesh. I learnt cycling at the age of 11. I love to cycling from my childhood. I am a Banker (10am to 6pm). Have a family. My daughter has a ride too. I love to explore new area of surrounding city by cycling.
Currently I ride a commuter bike named as Connect Country. My longest recorded ride is 249km. I used to track my data by strava, endomondo app.
My last 100 km ride was in last October 2019. I am planning to go for a 200km ride again. Now I am bit nervous. Could you please give my some suggestion for practices, so that, I can complete the 400 km in two days with one day break.

welcome to the forum. Jumping to two 200km rides in 3 days from 100km is doable, but maybe a little ambitious. I would do one 200km and see what you feel like. Are you going to stay at home for the rest day?
There are two recent threads about efforts like this

Well, that's pretty ambitious, I would agree. Maybe go out really, really slow. A lot slower than you think you need to go. It is going to be a challenge, given your current mileage.

I want to improve my conditions. I want to ride it smoothly because I had hit a lot of century ride. like Sherpur, Chadpur, Moinot Ghat, Manikgonj, Mawa, comilla, homna, narshingdi, munshigonj etc. Haluaghat was special 249km ride, after that I never hit 200km. So I want to be fit for a cross country ride, so that I can ride everyday 100km or more. But this time I want to hit 200 km for going home by cycle.
