Do you buy your noodles at a LGS(local grocery store)or just sample them at Costco and then buy them online?

But why? At a minimum, the thing looked in danger of falling off. We were in the mountains of Montana.

Titanium offers lateral stiffness balanced with vertical compliance.
It’s comfortable, light, stiff, corrosion resistant, and longer lasting than the other cup materials.
Thus it is the material of choice by the boutique custom ramen cooker crowd.

None of the above...I buy cycling specific noodles at my local LBS, made especially for cyclists and they cost 5 times as much as regular noodles.

Hot take: the subdivision of bikeforums into incredibly small niches is dumb. They should migrate to a tag-based system that allows you to filter by tag if you want.

My LGS was incredibly elitist when I went there. I told them I couldn’t afford to spend $400 on Organic Cup Noodles and they basically turned me away.

What color bar tape should I use on my Cup-o'-Noodles? I need to wrap the cup to keep it warm, and have a good grip on it while eating. Does color matter, or just go with basic black?

Or maybe skip the bar tape and just go with gloves? Should they be half-finger with an open back (maybe crochet) and leather of synthetic leather palms? Full finger gloves in leather or synthetic, and maybe padded palms?

Dang, this is getting confusing!

I make my own noodles. At home. The last time I tried to get noodles at the LGS, they screwed it up. It's not that hard to make your own noodles, especially with Youtube. If you can't make your own noodles, you probably shouldn't be eating.

I tried to make a package of Ramen in a Cup O'Noodles container, but it wouldn't fit.

[mr.straight-laced] Yes. That's why it's there.

[Controvesial_Campy_Karl] No way, maybe 3-4 mm below for best results. Otherwise it's soupy

[Fancy.Equip.Bill] As far as the temp goes, I use the 190F faucet I installed. Works great

What if ....
you put the soupy noodles in a bag over night in the freezer and placed it in your jersey before a known warm ride. It’ll keep you cool and provide lunch down the road....

I add water to line. Also if in hot sun just add water to line close top and set in Sun for 15 minutes. Whether cup of noodles or bag of instant ramen works every time.
