I'm from Minnesota
Hello from pre-winter Minnesota! Our biking season is just about over so I will have to live my biking adventures through the people here from warmer climes.
I bought a Bacchetta Giro 26 in early August and have just gotten used to the new bike when I have to put it up in my garage for the looooong winter we have here.
I hope to get to know some of you in the coming months.

I'm from "It's snowing out Minnesota"
Thanks for the welcome East Hill. I am a bread baker and have been baking bread and riding bikes for the last 20 years. I make all kinds of breads and sweet rolls for the enjoyment of my family, friends, and neighbors.
My two hobbies (my wife calls them obsessions) peak at different times of the year. I do more baking in the winter and more biking in the summer. So it works out that I can stay obsessed all year long.
It is snowing right now and looks like it may stick to the grass. I do not like to ride my recumbent bike in the cold and it looks like I will have to utilize my indoor exercise recumbent cycle for the next four months in order to keep from gaining weight from all that bread.

I grew up in St. Paul, Drifty. Welcome. I second East's idea to check out the winter forum. You northerners ice fish, snowmobile, skate, ski, why not bike? You may need to get another bike but who doesn't like that idea?
Just a thought. Anyway, cheers.
