Mint vintage sears bike

Apparently I can’t attach a photo. Mint condition sears take apart bike with attached toddler seat. Any input on value?

one name for these was ToteCycle (IIRC!)

there were two manufacturers for the Sears badged examples

they were also sold under the name of the actual producer

production life was about ten year

I think these are neat and was thinking of purchasing one. The ones I have seen have a 3 speed Bendix Torpedo rear hub. I've seen one near me that has been for sale for a while at $100. To the original poster, where are you located?

Got my Sears "Tote" Bike at the local landfill site (dump). Has sat in one of my rock gardens for years. Generally, such bikes are not sought after. If buying and if actually "mint" it might be worth spending a hundred bucks to buy. Ride quality will not be stunning but the fun factor can easily be met.

Pitted chrome on the front fender does not say "mint" to me.

Interesting. The black one looks like it is single speed. Gold ones were the type I had seen before with 3 speed hub.

Take it to a junk dealer. Perfect for yard art.
