So is the very short stem. I usually like the bullhorn look but this bike looks horrible with them. You need a different stem and road bars, then it would look awesome!

Yeah, still messing around with the stem situation -- the small one is what came with the bike (CL purchase) Seems to feel ok when riding though since i'm basically gripping on the bar where it says "mash" -- I also have shorter arms!

I've got drops on my BMC -- I like having some variety on my bikes!

For the moment, yes, it's a SS coaster-brake. A front caliper is on order, though, which will go on regardless. I may yet convert it to a flip flop, in which case, both front and rear brakes will be active.

Rode with my new Syntace Stratos bullhorns this AM. Had to go brakeless because I couldn't find my 26.0 crosstop lever. Definitely the best bullhorns I've ever used, but I'm still partial to Ritchey EvoCurves.

My commuter was stolen and i had been wanting to pick up a FG/Track bike after going to a few beginner sessions at the local Velodrome. So i picked up a late xmas present for myself. A 2012 Fuji Feather.
This was taken the first day i got to ride it. Currently i have the Rear hub flipped to FG, and i removed the back break

Ive got some black grips coming in the mail and a black brooks saddle at home. Hope to replace the Crank and Chainring soon too.

Ive been using it to commute for all of 2015 now and i absolutely love it, my commute is just about the same amount of time and i actually got very close to my PR on the way home yesterday.

2015 is gonna be a good year!

You definitely should!
Not only is the 'drome awesome but the park its housed in is the start of a 20 mile rural bike path (Coyote Creek Trail) down south to Morgan hill. Its really gorgeous and a good route to bring my less experienced friends as its pretty much flat.

I love my feather as well! Not the lightest bike in the world but an absolute pleasure to ride. I'm not sure why it's called a feather. Acquired mine this past August and can't stop riding - put 2700 miles on it so far. First upgrade was chainring. Gotta ditch the wheels..they weigh a ton.
