Bianchi Volpe serial number location?

I purchased an older Bianchi Volpe. Where is the serial number located? Trying to determine the year of manufacture. Made in Taiwan.

The serial number could be on the bottom of the seat tube. Try using a bright flashlight at different angles.

That is however a 1989 model.

Wow! You're the best. Many thanks. Took my first ride yesterday. Great experience. Any recommendations for tires & fenders. The saddle has to go.

For street tires I like Pannaracer Pasela tires. Fenders? Woody’s
