Folding Handlebars?

I bought a used Stowabike a while back. I'm thinking it'd be nice if the handlebars folded so I could make it even smaller. Does anyone know what parts I could get to make this happen? Like a stem or neck or something, and also the actual handlebars?

Also, if there is a device that would quickly clamp the 2 folded halves together, with a handle on it, so I could easily roll it as if it were a dolly or hand cart when it's folded.. Right now when I fold it, the thing wants to unfold when I try to roll it on the wheels. And there's no handle to pull on when trying to roll it while it's folded. So it's pretty awkward to move it around while folded.

I'm just trying to get this thing to fold down as small as possible, and be as easy to move around as possible while it's folded.

Does anyone have any suggestions I can look into?

Thanks in advance.

Look into Bike Friday handlebars

for obvious safety reasons, separating the bars requires tools; its not something you should be able to do casually by hand.

What is a Stow Bike? Do You Live on your Boat?

Asia has companies making bars to rotate 90 degrees to take up less room when bike is parked in their typical small apartments and houses..

Satori is a brand name that comes to mind of such a company..

there is also the German company Humpert, that is retailed thru for example by SJS cycles in UK.
they have some interesting products..

I have a Bike Friday separable handlebar.. It consists of 4 tubular pieces , the center combines all 4.

1. Which model? V2, I'm guessing?
2. What's your budget? Cost of mods may go over original purchase price.
Maybe more practical to get a new bike that does what you want.
3. Bike Friday for take apart handlebars.
4. Dahon/Tern for magnetic system to hold fold. Or just use a piece of velcro.
5. Are you sure your model rolls when folded?

Some folding bikes had pedals that folded flat (90 degrees) against your parked bike.
