Spank vibrocore rims - anyone has it?

Notices
Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Spank vibrocore rims - anyone has it?

Spank vibrocore rims - anyone has it?

Are they really more comfortable? Do this extra foam in rim really does something?

Hijacking this thread for vibrocore bars since no one responded to rims.
Seriously considering my own hack by stuffing bits of pool noodle foam into a spare set of FSA bars. Beats spending $110 only to be disappointed. Probably attempting this weekend after a ride so I can compare before and after. Will post pics.

Try the low expansion spray foam, should be able to just about fill the bar. Stick straw in, tape around it and go

Good idea. The FSAs I have on are nice but rode some washboard this morning and it could be better. I’ll probably still pick up the Vibrocore to A/B compare.

The big thing with the Vibrocore bars...whether the foam inside works or not--is that they are full 31.8mm tubing from clamp to hooks. Something no other alloy handlebar did last time I looked, including the entire Salsa line nor the FSA line. Dig them on my groading rig.
