Finally got my hands on a GT triple triangle frame!
Why are these so hard to find?
And suggestions for this build? I'm thinking SRAM but i don't know anything about it, I'm more of a Campy guy...
I'm thinking about stripping the frame, riding it in nude AL until I figure out what color to paint it...

Death fork? Naaaah!!
I've been looking for a 'triple triangle' frameset for years. GT, Shogun, Nashbar, whatever.
Lugged is better, 54cm.

Nice, picked this up a couple months ago to do drop bar conversion with Shimano RSX including brifters.

I just passed on a 56 cm Shogun Samurai with triple triangle and full 105. Tange Infinity tubes; kind of on the heavy side. It's still listed on the Tucson CL at $60 and with no pics it'll probably remain there indefinitely. It's got the blue/white/pink paint in semi-rough shape. I've got half a mind to go back and pick it up for, I dunno, $40, but I'm not looking to flip or strip right now so I probably won't bother. Anyway, a pretty decent deal for anyone so inclined.

nice find.
I managed to score a GT Edge earlier this year, threw the 105 group and wheels I had left over from dad's cannondale on it temporarily, but the more I rode it the more I liked it just the way it was.

i finally found a 51cm one after years of searching...and the guy lied on his ebay description. of course. the thing was corroded, and beat up way more than he described, even after i asked him questions. yelled at him till he took the whole thing back, and i was out fifty bucks. seeing as 51cm is probably the bottom end of "feasible" hellenic stays, it's probably the bottom 1% of frames made, esp. due to their "so pretty/so ugly" factor. i've seen a few posted up here and there. i'll try to post it back on here when i do see them.

I left my old GT Tequesta frame in the attic of my house in Memphis when I moved away. Car was full and there wasn't any room. It had the rear brakes mounted on the chainstays. It was the first bike I ever bought.

GT Edge
I bought this off the local CL. Even though 4-6cm too small for me, this bike was sooo fun to rally around the local park's paths and sidewalks. Reminded me of my old BMX days. Ended up selling it to a co-worker as his 1st Roadbike.

mine is missing the 853 sticker on the seat tube because it had a crack repaired and repainted down there, according to the previous owner
