Popping when I pedal

This may be the same problem as the creaking the one guy talked about. There is a popping or cracking sound at the same point when I pedal with force. It is louder when I go slow and put more pressure into the pedal. I can really only feel it through the left pedal and it occurs in the same point in the rotation as I pedal. It is when the left pedal is at or near its top position. I have a Specialized Allez Sport 04 that has been ridden for about 150 miles. Any ideas on what this is or how to fix it? Thanks.

What have you tried so far to fix it? The first thing that comes to my mind would be to check the torque of the bolt that holds the left crankarm. Those are frequently a problem.
