Slingshot by South Coast Cruzers?

I asked about this on the recumbent forum and they thought it would be too heavy to be practicle (single speed), but I thought I'd run it by the Alt Bike Culture crowd and see what you think. https://www.internationalsurreyco.com...cumbent-trike/ I am considering buying the model with the Sturmey Archer 3 speed. The trike weighs 70 pounds, and has 20" rear wheels and a 16" front wheel. If I get this, do you think it would be rideable on mostly flat residential neighborhood roads? Also, would a 60 year old look totally ridiculous on one of these?
Thanks.
