No the price is not good and it's not a great bike heavy not a good rider.. For a 26inch wheeled low end Schwinn model even in great condition $125 about all there worth. I would say keep looking if you looking for a vintage bike in the $200-400 price range you can do a lot better.

What about the trek 720 below? i realize it’s another kind of bike but i did t see a subforum for not classic used bikes.

At $188 for the Trek 720, that's more than I'd want to pay for an old hybrid but you're in Chicago. The price isn't terrible and the bike is very clean. That bike will make a fine commuter and easy to get parts for.

The Trek is a better & more practical bike for a better price. That Schwinn looks nice but, they were heavy clunkers.
