Greetings from sunny Seattle!

Saying hi and introducing myself.

I found the Bike Forums recently while browsing around on Craigslist for a vintage Bianchi Nuovo Racing, which I was able to purchase. The posts here were super helpful and it seems like quite a nice community. I’ve been riding since about 1977 in some manner or other, with some hiatuses for motorcycles thrown in. I currently commute by bike to work a couple of times a week and ride my Cervelo not especially fast when able to. I’m in Seattle, WA, USA and enjoy riding up hill, more so when not lugging panniers.

I have a 20 month old, so recently my riding has been more commuting than pleasure riding.

Cheers,

James

Welcome James! Congrats on the little one. Where in Seattle are you? I am in the Wedgwood/Lake City area.

There are plenty of other Seattle folks on the forums too. You will not be lonely!

Cool! Seattle has quite a thriving bike community. I'm in Fremont right now while I renovate our Ballard house. I am so excited about putting that together it's hard to find time to ride. Thanks for the tip. I'll check out the local stuff in here.

Cheers!

Used to live in Florida, so I appreciate the hills and the seasons!
