Has anyone tried these out yet on a combination of gravel and asphalt to see how balanced teh performance is? I likely will be slipping on a set in the next month or two... If you have actual experience please pist what you think of them as far as traction, rolling resistance, durability and ride quality.

I didn't even know that tire was a thing....I do like how the Drys ride for lighter duty...and the tire has hit Amazon with actual tire tread photos and not crappy computer renderings (jeeze Vittoria, are you kidding?)

Thinking of trying it or the Hutch Override...what makes me nervous about almost-slick tires is cornering

We have a local shop guy that put them on for a particular fundraiser ride, knowing the roads were buffed out and perfect for this type of tire. He said it was blazing fast, which I would expect.

I'm shocked at their listed weight. Seems incredibly heavy for a 35mm tire with less tread.

Heavier than their Terreno Dry AAMOF. And based on the Amazon photos....this is another Vittoria tire with 3 or 4 different labelings on its packaging, that leave you to guess which size actually applies.

To be clear...I like Vittoria tires for gravel...but they make it hard to shop.

In my real life experience the bigger size on the tire (in this case 37mm) is the actual width.

Heh...well Terreno Drys in "700x38" printed on the box, have "40-622" on the sidewall printing...and measure 700x42 IRL.

I think whomever does their tire size labeling needs to learn how to use a ruler and be consistent.

I'm using the Vittoria Terreno Dry on the front and the Hutchinson Override on the rear of my Raleigh Roker. It's a great combination.

The Hutchinson Override is lightweight and very fast rolling. It's very supple, providing a smooth ride and minimal rolling resistance. The Override helped me nearly produce the same kind of speeds I experience on my road bike on pavement with 700x25 Rubino Pro tires. Performance on a wide range of dry surfaces is excellent. Firm gravel, dry grass, dry single-track are all traveled with speed and confidence. Soft and rutted single-lane gravel roads require focus and skill, but can be covered quickly with sufficient traction. Wet gravel and pavement are acceptably easy to travel if the rider avoids any excessive banking during turns. I avoid wet earth and grass, it's not the right tire for those conditions.

I continue to be highly impressed with the Override. Traction, durability, reliability all continue to remain at a high level. I'm unable to break the rear tire loose on soft sandy trails, unless it's a very steep climb and I stand while mashing the pedals. Simply sitting on the saddle re-establishes traction. The front tire also maintains traction well on flatter routes. However, I'll install a knobby tire, like the Vittoria Terreno Dry, on the front if I expect faster downhill sections that require urgent braking and cornering. No need to remove the Override from the rear. It rolls fast with a surplus of traction.

Yes, they were easy to install tubeless with a standard floor pump.
