Bianchi Specialissima

Hi,

Again i came across with an ad where the seller says it is a bianchi Specialissima, can anyone help ? İf yes i want to buy and restore it.

Every old Bianchi is a Specialisma. Personally with the exception of one or two fancy bikes I don't really think there was a Specialissmabut rather Specialisma was the precursor to the Reporto Corse concept.

As for this bike I highly doubt the Specialisma claim in fact I don't see two things I would immediately look for to see if it is even a Bianchi. The fork crown looks the wrong style for a early '80s bike. Do you have any other information? Bottom bracket threading? What is stamped on the dropouts? Seatpost size? Anything stamped on the seat stay caps?

Its definitely a Specialissima. The kickstand is a dead give away.

Components are all entry level drivel. The probability of a good frame is negligible.

Also the rear dropouts look bent along with the dent dings in the frame and paint it wouldn't be a good buy with the current components even if it was a real frame.
