Luggage for Dahon Eezz d3

My wife is going to stay with family for 5 weeks and would like to take a bike with her on the plane. Can anyone suggest a luggage to fit a Dahon Eezz d3? I can't get to a store before she goes so it would have to be purchased at Amazon. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Might be able to carry this little bike on; might be able to gate check it. Useful general advice for flying with small folding bicycles:

Packing as checked luggage shouldn't be hard:

I use a Samsonite Stryde Hardside Glider Long Journey* for my Curl; it drops right in. I think the EEZZ will too; it certainly will if you pull the upper seat post.

Another option would be the B&W Foldon S.

Remember to pad/cushion the bike inside the case.

*I 'stalked' this suitcase on Amazon for about 6 months and got it at a great price. I see it's more $$ right now.

Alternative: Get a shipping box big enough to hold the bike, possibly from your local bike shop, and carry it to the airport with a folding cart.

Folded Size : 25.6″ x 24.4″ x 10.6″ (65 x 62 x 27cm)
