Does anyone else do this?

It lets me wonder if someone came back to their locked bike with cut cables and a missing cockpit.

If you like this, i have a few animal heads you might be interested in.

This guy says his Veloce is identical to the X3/50th Anniversary on ebay. Not asking $15k but only $2k.

Miele bicycles for sale are often pretty wacky. A lot of people think they were made in Italy when they were in fact made in Mississauga, Canada.

I like this add that says it has an all Cmpagnolo drivetrain. It has Shimano Sport LX derailleurs and shifters. I wonder what this seller thinks a drivetrain is?

The thing I thought was interesting was that, after all that, the poster has a problem with Trek road bikes from the 90's!

I'd like to know how the lister thinks anyone can just walk into an LBS and "get a decent new bike", rather than looking at row after row of empty stands.

Not to mention the assumption that anyone would prefer a new, most likely disposable, bike over a '90s Trek.

I get where he's coming from. I could inundate this thread with the overpriced garbage that's popping up now. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a dirty, rusty 1980's Schwinn Sprint with rotted flat tires, all $100 or more. Then there's this "in very good original condition" Nishika for the paltry sum of $250.........

This seller offers Bike A (not sure what Bike A is, but don't believe it's a Moser) and says its the same as Bike B, except it's not.

I added the red highlites

$500 Road bike"Nice bike frame, all parts work, needs seat. Brand new goes for over $1,000. Picture of the bike new for comparison"
2nd photo is supposed to be Bike A new.
Might need a seat post to go with that new seat

let's see, some people would like bar tape that wasn't torn on a like new bike - brake levers might be useful, oh and brakes - brakes can be fun.
Seat post looks nice though

What might have been a nice orange Gitane TdF except that it's been overly "improved" and the result is overpriced.

Microwave - $30

I recently saw a tactical vest and... something else, possibly also some sort of appliance (can't remember what, but definitely nothing to do with bikes). Baffling.

It might've been in "musical instruments," in which case it could also be useful...

Looks like a re-painted mid-80's Schwinn to me. I recognize those SR handlebars, but of course they could have come from a different bike, given the hodgepodge everywhere else.

You'd think the guy would at least put the chain properly on the chainrings and rear cogs a bike he wants to sell.

Cheers
