I like the paint job on the Saki. It's vaguely reminiscent of the custom VK2 that JAlexArtis has.

@Leisesturm:
how is that (performer?) tandem working for you? Any experiences, impressions, opinions? What are you using it for, what do you think is it good for, where does it have its limits?

Catrike Speed 2005
Love my Speed! Sometimes I wish the engine lived up to the name, but I also enjoy smelling the flowers along the way.

Here's a used, 2011 Bacchetta Giro 20 I picked up. I completely overhauled it, with new cables/housings/brake pads. Updated shifters, crankset, pedals, chain, cassette, and brake levers. Used some Kenda tires off my new Bacchetta that I wasn't using, and washed the seat cover in the washer. Ordered a new seat foam from Bacchetta.
The main decal was really beat up on both sides, so I ordered a new one, just haven't installed yet. Person I bought it from was original owner who rode it one season back & forth to work until his injury improved then set this baby in the shed for the next 6 years.

Wow that's a bunch of pads! Is the boom in all the way? You could move the seat forward quite a bit - although not that far - by re-drilling the seat and moving the mounts back, effectively moving the seat forward. That would also allow more recline.

Yeah, the pads are kind of overkill. They are not there for positioning so much as low back support. I don't really need more recline, I just need lots of support in the small of my back right above the waist, which is where the seat curves away.
The boom is shortened up until the FD cable attachment point. I took off about 4.5 inches.
I am going to try a cut up pool noodle for low back support rather than the pad sandwich tonight.

My semi-new-to-me Windcheetah.
Done a lot of work on it. A bit more left to do.
