Peugeot models
Hi,
my name is Peter in Sweden.
I just wrote a post asking for some help with determening the model of my Peugeot, but it said i have to write ten posts before I can post pictures.
So for now I should perhaps ask if anyone know of good Internet scources for Peugeot racers :-)
All the best
Peter

Hello Peter and a warm welcome to the forum!
There are very good resources online for Peugeot catalogues and brochures going back many years.
When looking at the materials keep in mind that models can vary from market to market.

Welcome, Peter. When you look through the catalogs, pay attention to the lugs and braze-ons, the tubing decals, and the chrome. Those will help you find your model amongst the multitudes.

Searching through catalogues can be a daunting task, especially when models often vary from market to market. To this end, I suggest you post the serial number, which will allow us to determine the model year and expedite the search. Having said that, the decals are circa 1983-1984 and the BBT tubing decal suggests a 1984 Peugeot PH11. It appears to be a good match. Pic assist...

Dear you,
thank you :-) I see that there are some pictures of my bike, but it said I had to post ten times to attach pictures.
Anyway, the serial number is 044355

Peter, Peugeot frames from this period typically have two sets of numbers. The one that starts with a 'B' or 'Y' is the one that incorporates the date of frame manufacture.

Thank you for the replies guys :-)
Yes it seems to be a PH11.
Looking at the catalogue, the colour is named "Black Metallic". Does anyone know if there are colour codes to get the right nuance ?
There are some rusty spots that I would like to fix.
