So, all of you Mary Ann- & Ginger-obsessed aging men, how would you feel if straight women and gay men starting fantasizing on bikeforums about, I dunno, which hot Tour de France domestique they'd like to cute-crash into on a ride? Just to be clear, I'm not accusing anyone of anything, but I am pointing out that these public fantasies virtually always come from the keyboards of straight men talking about women they deem attractive. I'm not sure that similar keyboard oggling of hot guys would be particularly well received.

It's an interesting question and something that crosses my mind when these kind of topics come up. I can't speak for bike forums, but on the NBA team forum I participate on no one seems to mind when female or male commenters talk about which players they find attractive. I guess there are probably people out there who don't like reading that, but they have never made their feelings public that I've seen.

If someone finds them to be a good deal that is great, but they don't appeal to me at all. For me touring is about going it alone or with a very small group of friends or family and usually on the cheap. It struck me that the suggested tip was more than I spent when doing the TransAmerica including airfare and some new gear.
If folks enjoy this type of trip and trek can make a profit providing one, it is a win-win. Nothing wrong with that.

I saw piles of these groups in Europe and I don't think I saw a person under 55 in any of the groups in Paris: https://www.vikingrivercruises.com/c...&sftcm=21-6098. Price per night, right about the same as the Trek Travel. There are lots of people to whom a $17k, month and a half vacation is either nothing or a small enough amount to make it worth ticking off a bucket list item.

the three seasons of gilligan's island included 98 episodes. 99 if you include the pilot. exclude the 3 made for teevee films and the documentary produced by mary ann.
but this is ridiculous. the REAL questions is....
ellie may or miss hathaway...
and of course for axy.......jethro or mr. drysdale?
