Both Sturmey Archer & Shimano make Internal Gear Hubs with Coaster Brakes but you will have to choose a hub that fits the drop out spacing of your frame.

Have you tried setting the tensioner chain as per Sturmey Archer's Instructions? From what I have read, the initial set up of the hub can be a bit fussy & the amount of chain pull from the hub can be fussy. Apparently once it is set correctly, it rarely needs to be adjusted again. - https://www.sturmey-archer.com/files...EED%20HUBS.pdf
