The Sickest Shift I Have Ever Experienced
Was accelerating pretty hard through a stop sign today. Seems like the bike was upshifting on its own a little bit when pedalling hard. It resulted in a shift so hard and responsive, I felt the rear rim chatter against the pavement slightly as the derailleur flicked into the next smallest cog. Such an awesome and responsive shift, I felt I had to share. I think it's because of the stiffer spring in my suntour derailleur which caused the shift to be so positive. It was just like the chattering you get when dumping the clutch in a manual transmission at high engine RPM's!

So, to recap: you were running a stop sign, your bike is so poorly tuned that the bike was "upshifting on its own," and apparently you had no rear tire, since you "felt the rear rim chatter against the pavement."
If that's worth bragging about, I wonder what would make you feel sheepish?

Sick shift, bro!
Gotta love a broken bike that is doing what it shouldn't and is clearly not safe to ride and someone is proud of that fact. It never ceases to amaze. I guess ride it like you stole it (out of the bike shop's dumpster) really applies in this situation
I love bikes, a lot but there is no way I would ride something that is so f'ed like it was a good working bike and then brag about it. I would head down to my local shop and say "hey, can you guys get this safely rideable, I don't wanna die". Well I guess I am a modern man and I gotta "lust for life", I do drive a GTO all on a government loan! (and if you don't know now you know)

Nah, it's not that complicated. Here's what really happened:
Once again, they made up a post with a bunch of "hot button" issues. Then they surrounded those issue with nonsensical claims.
All to elicit responses from folks who mistakenly believe that the OP is earnest, and being truthful.
It's another in a long line of troll posts.

I've replaced my rear derailleur with a brand new Acera long cage which I got from the bikehub.
No more skipping in any gear! However, on my ride home, I did notice some ghost shifting just once. Otherwise, everything was good.
I think I can chalk that up to this derailleur not being designed around non indexed shifting. It is much more picky about line tension in each gear versus my old suntour.
I'll get a pic tommorow.
