Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

no blame intended, inferred or imagined.
Great minds think alike on the nail polish. I use it for marking seatpost height my slight leftward angle of the nose to accommodate my leg length discrepancy. Wasn't sure it would work on a wear item. You have convinced me to try it.

Kudos and mucho soup for you!

Who gets the blame, since we are going there?

I blame big pharma.

I suggest 1000mg acetaminophen.

That’s rather hard usage after I took on the moral burden of your lubrication issue.

Will do, doc. I already took a little ibuprofen, but I hate doing that after workouts, lest it interfere with the inflammatory response to muscle microtearing. Yes, I am crazy.

Not fair.

I count the number of turns on the cranks. On my setup it's 2 1/4 full turns on the 50t chainring.

Might be too pricy for me, but I do insist that counsel have a titanium bike as a baseline criterion.

I’ll take the case on contingency.

Our shark must smell blood. No one with a ghost-of-last-night's-pea-soup-powdercoated Cerakoted Engin could be desperate for work.

It's a one-of-a-kind custom blend of Zombie Green and gloss white and it's not powder coat. It's Cerakote.

Cerakote®, Cerakote®! How could I have made that mistake?

The color is arguable.

Ha. I had similar concerns and would forego ibuprofen and get **** sleep because my legs were aching just enough to make it difficult to fall asleep. And then I saw the doses that were involved in the study - 1200mg on the regular. And growth wasn't completely stymied, it just wasn't as good as with low/no dose, from my understanding. Anyway, yeah - now I don't have quite the same reservations about taking 400mg once or twice a month if it helps me sleep (which is purty darned important for recovery, too).

The test mix of pink and white came out looking too much like bubble gum so I went with the green. I needed something to go with the red hubs of the wheels I was moving over from the IF.

The issue with Cerakote colors is that they have a matte finish. You need to mix them with white to produce a pearl finish. The builder has a really nice pearl blue finish on his road bike.

I've never seen that study; I just assumed there might be some disruption of the pathway. Of course, the "real" reason not to overdo the NSAIs is the vascular risk.

Edit: Just did a quick Pubmed search and the best and latest paper I could find suggests that ibuprofen actually enhances the satellite cell response and protein expression associated with repair and regeneration after a controlled injury protocol. It was biopsy based, had a decent sample size, considering the invasiveness, and was published in a pretty good journal (viz, excellent for exercise science).

Here's the abstract https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26936358. PM if anyone wants the full .pdf.
