Tires for long wet rail trail?
doing 80 miles gravel railtrail next weekend and 60 percent chance of rain ....options are:
1) 33 celemente boss tubeless or
2) 38 challenge gravel grinder ghetto tubeless
opinions?

38mm challenge.
You don't need a relatively narrow tire with deeper tread for a straight flat rail trail.

The 38s will be a lot faster on soft, deformable surfaces. Make sure you have 4mm of tire clearance so you don't erode your paint. Maybe put tape on the seat stays.

38's... and at least a clip on rear fender.
One other thing we've noticed on wet rides is that tires with a continuous center tread seem to flip more water up behind. Meanwhile a low knob doesn't seem to throw the same amount of water.

During rainy season on the Katy near STL, running 2.0 fasttraks makes a huge improvement over 40 MSO Clements. I personally think my rear end gets fishtailing below 28 when it's*dry*. With the fasttraks in rain and mud it's inght and day. You float over everything and they're fast rolling. Go as wide as possible.
