Talking Low-Step hybrid modifications

What modifications have you done or like to see on low-step hybrids like the Specialized Roll? I've recently taking a shining to this platform with purchasing a Roll Comp X1 (1x10 Deore, Hydraulic brakes) and I've done only a few things to it:
  • Replaced the stock suspension wobbly-ass seatpost with a carbon fiber rigid one. Why did they include such a crappy seatpost? >.<;
  • Added the Roll fenders
  • Replaced the Spesh 2.3" road tires with 2.0" Continental Double Fighter III tires for light offroading adventures with the wife and dog. Adventure cruiser!
Clearly, a rack will be in my future, but what else works well on these? I've seen a mid-drive electric conversion, but that's not something I'm interested in. I'd like this to be my bike to roll out to the bar and grocery store, rail trail sessions, and casually enjoying light wooded/groomed trail and gravel paths. I find I enjoy the woods more when I slowly float through them on something like this.
