Prove to us that "sugar kills". Hard, irrefutable evidence. Direct causation. Show us how it's done.

Just as another option... They do sell UHT whole white milk and chocolate milk in 8 ounce cartons, boxes, or bottles. It keeps for months without refrigeration.

Very easy to do...All you need to do is go on you tube and cherry pick an opinion from some " health expert" which fits exactly with your own line of thinking and voila you got yourself proof and evidence. You can not only do that with sugar but also with meat, dairy, fat, carbs, and pretty much any food. It seems that in this day and age all food kills, it's best to just avoid eating and become a breatharian .

So where do you get your true expert opinion independent of your own line of thinking?

In this day and age, you just make up an opinion (and maybe a conspiracy theory to go along with it).

Through trail and error, through experience, through experimenting and trying different things out.

You got it all wrong. The correct source of information about what is good for the bicycling "pros" of BF 50+ (and therefore everybody else) is somebody, anybody who can provide a quotable spiel that "confirms" the preferred beliefs already held by the club members.

Or actual experts rather than "experts". A bit like when you go to see a qualified doctor when you need medical advice.

We all do that to some extent, but it's a very limiting approach to life. Smart people make use of other smart people's different knowledge and expertise and books are full of knowledge and wisdom.

If someone is obsessed with getting an edge on the competition, (even when it is imagined, and may consist of strangers, phantoms,or arbitrary goals set by the "pro wanna-be") and believes that bicycling is all about maximizing finess/performance, he may seek the wisdom of the experts who train the pros and try to emulate their equipment selection, training methods and riding technique. Hopefully the "would-be pros" of 50+ aren't emulating their role models and following the advice of the experts on better racing through chemistry and pharmacology to attain their "fitness" goals.
