Schwinn Paramount

Hey guys, I have a Schwinn Paramount Road bike and I am trying to figure out the year and possible worth. I have located a P1 stamping on the bottom and it was made out of Chicago. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

With P1 on BB early 70's. What is the serial # its on the non drive side rear droup out It's a letter followed by 4 or 5 numbers? This will tellyou the month made and the year. Will need pictures to trll you the model and give you an idea of value.

If i remember right the P1 on the bottom bracket meant that the paramount was not made in Chicago but in Racine Wisconsin .

This is correct. The P indicates a frame made by Don Mainland of Pioneer Manufacturing in Racine, Wisconsin. Probably early to mid 70's

If you can get the serial number on the non drive side dropout that will indicate year and month of manufacturing.
