Critique these two sets of components.
I am being offered two bikes
Both hwve their very good points.
Cqn you tell me which set of components is better?
I realise one list is more comprehensive.
Can you still tell generally speaking which set is better?

This means nothing to me. I look for a decent fit first.

Fit is first and foremost, however I am not a fan of Sram hydraulic brakes. Been there, won't ever go back. Shimano hydraulics are good to great, and it is hard to lose with them. As for shifting, meh, either one works. The rest of the components are equal between the two. Get the one that fits correctly, then make changes down the road a ways if needed. That is what I did with the Sram brakes. Rode them for 2 years and upgraded to Shimano. The Sram drivetrain was very good, just those lousy brakes! Never could keep them from rubbing and squealing. Constant bleed issues, etc. Shimano, just put 'em on and they work great.

Thank you very much for an informed well balanced answer,
My question now is still regarding components.
The bike with the Sram brakes fits me very well.
Would you still buy a well fitted bike with P.I.T.A. brakes?
