Multi-day touring trips in the Northeast US?

Hi all, I'm fairly new to bicycle touring, so far I've only done these off-road and relatively flat trips:

-Erie Canal towpath from Buffalo to Albany in 5 days
-GAP / C&O Towpath from McKeesport to DC in 5 days
-Pine Creek Trail down and up in 2 days

50-70 miles/day seem to be fine for me as long as its not very hilly.

Now I find myself looking for my next trip. :-)

Would anyone mind giving me some ideas for more multi-day touring trips, either on-road or off-road, in the Northeast region of the US?

Thanks guys!

Check out the Adirondack loop and the Green Mountain loop on Adventure Cycling.
I've ridden bits and pieces of each on day trips (I'm local...) - would make a great trip!

Last year we toured Southeast Massachusetts, Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and parts of RI in a week. This year we circled Lake Champlain, including Montreal and Lake Placid.

The Finger Lakes region looks interesting too.

Check out the loop that goes around Lake Champlain between Vermont and NY. You can do shorter segments by using the ferries across the lake to make shorter loop trips.

We do the lake Champlain loop as a randonneuring event. About 300k depending on how you decide to route, north half pretty flat, south on the NY side note so much. Great riding. Add in the Route Verte up to Montreal and you'd have your trip.

Look up lake Champlain bimeways and local motion for more info. The bike ferry has been canceled this year due to flood damage.

Consider riding around the Finger Lakes region and through Letchworth Park. Lots of hills, many quiet roads. very pretty! We took two trips there and liked both of them.
