Recommend Bicycle Pants
Alas, after 11 years of service - perhaps 50-100 rides per year- my Pearl Izumi Tokyo tights have given up the ghost, with perhaps 5 extra holes in the fabric, including one disturbingly placed on the bottom.
I loved the slight-looseness of the pants for commuting into work, which, coupled with the 35-50 deg range that we commonly have for winter mornings here in San Jose, had me wearing them daily for months on end each year.
Sadly, what was perfect for me is now apparently discontinued. What should I consider instead?

Tights and Pants | Foxwear
Lou at Foxwear makes custom stuff. In general, it's cheaper than off the shelf products and it's high quality stuff. Just get a pair made to your specs. I have a lot of his stuff and it's all been great. Time to get it is amazingly short.

For 11 years of use they seem to have had great value and are worth re-buying, perhaps they just renamed the model of those tights? I am also in the market.
Maybe something like this, https://www.competitivecyclist.com/p...NDYXQxMDAyMjQ=

I have Novara Headwinds Pants and love them. They aren't tights, but are a close fit. I bought mine several years ago, but the current ones look pretty similar to the older model. I bought them at end of season on sale for about $60. They have held up really well. The material that has contact with the seat is still in great condition. I am comfortable with cycling shorts plus these pants down to 40ºF. They have no padding, which is perfect for me.
