Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

I love the emerging races. I haven't found any in NorCal. Anyone know of any?

Looks fun. There's a gravel series around here, but they ramp up the distance faster than I can get ready. Right now I could probably handle the 60 miler they had in March. I wasn't ready for the 127-mile Oregon Stampede on June 1.

Meanwhile, the friend who recommended this series to me is currently 527 miles into the Tour Divide.
