and the pedal tools are pedal spindles, cut and ground to give a little more depth to go through all cranks?

Yep

Also just made some out of Campy spindles for the Strawberry build as the Campys are always a tight fit in standard Japanese threads, the pedal extenders were really tight and I was tired of wrestling with them, had some spares and made it so.

Exactly, chicken and the egg, bikes or trikes usually come first but my Dad took me for a ride on a neighbors new Harley when I was like 2yrs, hook was set, Mom was p****d, trikes, bikes, minibikes, Honda trail 70's, 90's, 10 speeds, CB 350's, Maico 501, 125 Elsinore, KZ 1000's and back to C+V with drag racing on the back burner for now.

Full circle over and over.

It is! It's also a bicycle, though, since motorcycles are bicycles.

Same here. Trouble is, I'm a word guy. Okay, let's get back to stuff for trade.

I posted a set of 1990s Look-style Shimano 105 pedals a week or so ago that I wanted to update to say no trade is required--if anyone wants them, they're yours for the price of postage.

Had a KZ1000 drag bike myself, think I only ever took a handful of photos of it back when Film Cameras were all the rage lol. Bike was a little painful sitting at the controls as it really hurt my hips but the second you pinned the go fast grip a smile ten feet wide appeared on my face, she was a beast lol.

Trade

I have another trade:

My hand-built, true, smooth, and vintage (from the 90's) Mavic GL 330 red label tubulars with Dura-Ace 7400 hubs and 8 speed cassette, without skewers. I thought I would use these for a project, but I don't think I will.

For:

Your pair of track wheels. Not particularly picky about them, silver clincher rims would be nice, but I am not looking for any thing "deep V." I've rediscovered the joy of riding fixed gear, so this would be fun for me. Just send me a pic of what you've got!

I have a set of clincher flip flops that came off my Lotus Sprint. Not anywhere comparable to what you're putting up, but maybe adding cogs and single speed freewheels could make up the difference. Also a very nice set of nameless 5 speed 170mm cranks, off a Paris Sport track bike.

Looks like they're both usable only on the left side.

I think that I am looking for something a little bit more light weight, maybe with fewer spokes?

Although the history of both the Paris Sport and the Lotus Sprint are super interesting. You should consider uploading pictures of the frame and wheels to this blog if you haven't yet.

I'm ISO of this bolt again - the one that jethin so kindly traded with me has a 7mm thread, but the Tektro R559 I'm trying to convert is 8mm in this area. Had no idea there was a running change in production.

For reference, here's an old photo I have of the 7mm version (from the era when you had to convert a R556 using an 800A):

Alternately, I'd be open to a black Tektro R559 for rear recessed mount.

ISO: parts for my 63 paramount. I am in Toronto, Canada so shipping isnt as cheap as continental US so it may be more likely to work out if you've got more than 1 item but let me know what you've got. Good or better condition with no pitting.

British thread campagnolo bottom bracket. Post-CPSC would be ideal as my FD has the little rounded tab. Jeirvine has one he offered but if I can package with more stuff that would make sense.

52T Campagnolo nuovo record chainring, 144bcd.

27.2 Campagnolo seatpost, two bolt.

Brooks Professional with large copper rivets

26.4 crown race british thread nuovo record headset or earlier gran sport.

First generation Weinmann 999 brakes and levers

Titan stem and Maes handlebar or something else. 80-100mm, 42cm or wider. I dont know if they made these size .

Record or gran sport derailleur. I have a nuovo record derailleur but am looking for an earlier one.

I can do the BB, chainring, seatpost and headset. (and maybe brakes, not sure of the model) Good riding condition or do you want higher grade?

I think I can do either grade for the above items.

I can do the Brooks Professional with large copper rivets in good riding condition, the leather comes with some scuffs, but looks good. The top says "Pre-Softened", so I am not sure if this is within your timeframe or not.

Thanks to everyone that responded. I found the BB, headset, seatpost and ring.

For now I may cool it a bit on the buying and build it up with some record/super record stuff I have on hand and see how I like riding it before restoring further.
