K2 Gamma 3.0 Performance Series - anyone heard of this?

I cannot find any info on a bike I just bought. It is labeled K2 Gamma 3.0 Performance Series. Anyone have any info?

If it is, it's around 20 years old, the parts on it aren't top of the range and I wouldn't pay $300 for it.

It does look like it's in good condition though, it looks like it's probably been in storage since new.

K2 is a ski and snowboard company. They've offered a few cheap bikes over the years. I wouldn't pay negative $5 for it.

Cobba - yep, that's the one.

I thought $300 was a fantasy price, too.
But I'd pay $200 for my kid to have something decent to kick around on, trying to figure out if he likes trail riding enough to get a new (read: more $$) bike.

I was aware of K2's background, but not of their reputation as bike manufacturers.

Did they actually make bikes anyway, or put their brand on them? As a 2 X ProFlex owner, I was aware that they absorbed the ProFlex brand in the latter 90's, right?
