Hello from East Bay Area

Hello everyone, bay area native here, I just got into mountain biking and back into road cycling. Been riding for years though and the most I've done is a half century. I have a lot of bikes in my stable currently, highlights include a '14 Marin Trail Attack XT8, '92 C'dale SR600 3.0, Leader Mordecai, and a vintage Firenze GL5000.

didn't know they had mountains east of Tampa.
My brother in law lives near, so i'll tell him to look for the mountains

edit: you should get over to Santa Cruz for the Summer, much more temperate.

Have yet to explore the Santa Cruz mountains, I heard the riding is pretty gnarly though. Once I build up my skills I'll definitely take a trip.

Some are tough - definately a triple back when I rode - Mt Charlie Rd, Zayante, Hwy 9 early early on summer Sundays. Up to Skyline and Summit Road. You must also schedule a Hwy 1 week-end. Mine were south of SF.

Then there's 'around Lake Tahoe'. Oooopps, sorry reminiscing.

Ride On.
